Aim of study: To develop a whole row automatic pick-up device using air force to blow out plug seedlings, avoid the damage seedlings that current way seedling picking by needle insertion induces.Area Jiangsu Province, China.Material and methods: We designed which mainly consists transporting device, loosening clamping an control system. The rate was significantly reduced success increased new method end-effectors. A prototype produced according calculation results, performance tests were arranged under actual production conditions in indoor laboratory.Main results: showed when diameter blowhole nozzle is 3.5 mm, pressure between 0.146 MPa 0.315 MPa, can be blown successfully. Besides, strain test end-effector meet requirements picking. orthogonal both water content affected ratio. ratio reached 96.64% 0.4 55%-60% airflow 100%, what meets transplanting.Research highlights: This research provide some references for transplanting technology.
